June Progress Report

Here in paradise, although tourist attractions remain closed, the beaches are open for surfing and the local world-class waves are back on the daily menu.

In anticipation of Bali's official reopening, which is scheduled for July 9th, we've been busy continuing the work to improve the surf camp's grounds, facilities and accommodation.

Here's what we've been up to...

Sports and activities area

As you might have already seen if you've been following our social media accounts, what was formerly known as the yoga studio is now our sports and activities area which will be a daily hub of activity and post-surf entertainment.

The focal point of this area is a pair of freshly-built quarter pipes where you can try skateboarding for the first time or practice some dry-land top-turns to accelerate your surfing progress.

In addition to our yoga classes, which we'll continue to run, we're in the process of adding kickboxing pads and bags, and functional fitness equipment including kettlebells and a callisthenics rig.

When you've exhausted yourself with all that fun, you can kick back with a cold beer and watch one of the latest movies or surf films in front of our premium surround-sound cinema set up.

Pizza oven

On the other side of the surf camp, we're expanding our outdoor dining area with the construction of a wood-fired oven where we'll be hosting regular build-your-own pizza nights.

Stage one is complete and construction of the dome will begin very shortly.

Board racks

Robert, our driver and in-house welding expert has been busy upgrading our board storage room.

With more than 100 boards for you to choose from here at the camp, it's important for us to ensure they're all maintained to a very high standard and being able to store, retrieve and manage the boards quickly and easily helps make this possible.

With custom-built racks in our existing storage room and new overflow racks in our board repair shop, we now have the capacity for over 140 boards of all shapes and sizes.

Seating area and dragons

Not forgetting the smaller details, our two dragon water-features at the end of our infinity pool have enjoyed a fresh coat of paint and are looking more vibrant than ever and our grounds team continue working on new concrete planters which border a new paved poolside area.

Keep your eyes on our social media for regular progress updates and we look forward to showing you everything in person very soon!
