November News and Updates

As you might expect, tourism in Bali has been severely affected by the Covid crisis and, while the virus and infection rates here remain relatively low and under control, the volume of visitors is a tiny fraction of what would be normal.

With visas now available, we're hoping for everyone in Bali's sake that the tide will begin to turn and the tourism industry here can begin to slowly rebuild.

Here at PPSC, we continue to try to make the best out of the crisis and when we've not been out enjoying the uncrowded surf, we've been busy making further improvements and enhancements to both our facilities and operations.

Covid safety improvements and updates

We've combined in-house and outside expertise to help redefine our cleaning and safety standards in the areas of food and water safety, hygiene and infection prevention, and general operations.

You can read more on our dedicated Covid safety information page about some of the processes we've put in place and changes we've made to ensure your stay with us is as safe as possible.

Pizza oven

Our pizza oven is now complete and — much to our enjoyment — is being regularly put through its paces as our chef and cooks perfect their recipe and wood-fire technique.

Outdoor gym and callisthenics area

One of the main developments of the past couple of months has been the expansion of our multipurpose sports and activities area to include an outdoor gym which is comprised of a new decking area with a pull-up bar, parallel bars, gymnastic rings and punch bag.

Complete with resistance bands, boxing gloves, pads and other equipment, we have everything you could need for a serious workout or to get your pre-surf warm-up and mobility work in.

Expanded seating area

In addition to our newly-completely seating alongside our spots and activities area, we've also expanded our original outdoor seating area to include another set of tables and chairs.

Internet and Wifi (in progress)

With remote work becoming increasingly popular and people looking to escape their local Covid restrictions for more than just a short break, we're in the process of upgrading our internet connectivity and network hardware to ensure excellent availability of business-quality wifi.

We already have a 100Mb/s fibre connection available at the surf camp but are adding a second ISP for extra reliability and improving the quality and coverage of wifi throughout.

For those wanting to do some serious work, we're also adding comfortable shared hotdesks and making private executive office space available — both with direct ethernet connections.

Travel and sports tourism is now allowed in Bali, and it is a simple process to apply for a visa. Get in contact now for more information on how you can join us for an exclusive surfing experience.
