Padang Padang Surf School Booking

For guests staying at Padang Padang Surf Camp, surf lessons may be booked as an additional extra when you book to stay with us.

All rates are in £GBP and include a rash vest and surf equipment but you will need to bring surfing shorts, sun screen and a towel (i.e. things you would normally bring to a beach). Please note that there is a 3.5% credit card fee.

If you book 2 sessions then they must be taken on the same day. We will email you the start time for the session at 3pm the day before. No rescheduling after 4pm. No refunds if you do not attend. We strongly recommend you select board damage insurance.

Meeting place

The meeting place is Padang Padang Surf Camp unless other arrangements have been made. We do not include transport to/from surf camp but transport to/from surf break is included.

Start time

The start time and location for surfing changes every day as the tide varies daily and we will vary the surfing location & time according to the surfing conditions such as; swell size, wind, tide etc.

We typically offer 2 surf sessions a day for both surf lessons and surf guiding groups and this would usually be 1 session in the morning followed by 1 session in afternoon or 2 morning sessions and the sessions are generally between 1.5-2 hours long. Scheduling is done for the first session the night before and the second session after first session – this gives us best data in terms of the current and expected surfing conditions.

For group lessons/guiding the time is fixed. For private lessons/guiding the timing is more flexible.

If for whatever reason we are unable to schedule the surf session for your preferred date/time then we will offer the next available surf session.

Surf guiding

Surf guiding means we will take you to the surf spot i.e. transport you to the best surf spot in the locality depending on your ability and preference. We will also provide information regarding tides, winds, rips and access to/from the break. Surf guiding is only suitable for experienced surfers and does not include any supervision services of surfers – you will be expected to be able to surf independently. If you require assistance with surfing, and/or supervision in the water, then it is mandatory to book surf lessons for reasons of safety and your enjoyment.

Surf camp day pass

Surf camp day passes include breakfast, lunch, fruit juice or whole coconut, tea, Bali coffee, use of facilities including our swimming pool, co-working, tennis court + racquets, ping pong, skateboard ramps, towel and hot shower. Cafe latte and Espresso additional cost.

Yoga class

Yoga classes are for 1 hour and usually start at 4pm, after surfing lessons are finished.

Photography Services

Would you like to have footage of your epic session? At Padang Padang Surf Camp, we offer professional drone, water, and land photography and videography services to make your experience unforgettable. Our skilled photographers will be ready to capture those special moments during your session with us. Our photography services are available to both residents and non-residents.
