Bali Daily Surf Report & Forecast
Our regularly updated surf report and forecast for the Uluwatu area including Padang Padang, Impossibles, Bingin, Dreamland, Balangan, Nusa Dua, South Coast, and Airport reefs.
Wednesday, June 17th, 2026
The waves are much smaller today, with sets coming in below head-high. The forecasted long-period swell did not arrive for the first-light sessions, but we expect the surf to pick up throughout the remainder of the day. Conditions are clean, and the wind is light this morning, though it will pick up as the day heats up.
For beginner surfers, there are still some waves down at Padang Padang for lessons. These slower-moving waves are great for understanding how your movements affect how the board flows through the water. Intermediate surfers can head over to Balangan or Uluwatu depending on their preference. Advanced surfers should head straight to Uluwatu to make the absolute most of the waves we do have today.
Looking ahead to tomorrow, while today’s expected swell has not completely filled in yet, tomorrow is currently looking like it will be smaller than today.

Surf Guide Recommendations
Uluwatu is our top recommendation for advanced surf guiding today to make the most of the waves currently on offer.
This Week’s Surf Outlook
Today’s building swell will push into the Overhead + range by this evening before steadily dropping through Thursday and bottoming out with smaller, fun-sized surf on Friday. A fresh 20-second period swell begins to show on Saturday afternoon with fast-moving overhead waves, filling in on Sunday/Monday with 1.5x overhead surf.
Padang Padang Surf Camp guides check conditions every morning and take guests to the right break for their level. Book a stay with us and we will do the same for you — every day, whatever the swell, wind and tide are doing.
