Surf Recovery In Uluwatu, Bali
Built To Help You Surf Better Tomorrow
Two surf sessions a day takes something out of you. The recovery setup at Padang Padang Surf Camp is built around that — not as a wellness add-on, but as a practical part of the surf day. The better you recover between sessions, the better you surf the next morning.
Ice Bath & Sauna
Contrast Therapy, Available Daily
The ice bath and sauna are available every day. Cold water immersion after a morning session reduces inflammation and helps your body reset before the afternoon. The sauna does the opposite — warmth, release, and a few minutes of genuine stillness. Used together, contrast therapy is one of the most effective ways to recover between surf sessions.
Yoga
Flexibility And Mobility For Surfers
One Thursday yoga class is included with every stay. Daily group classes are available at around 3–4pm as a paid add-on — Vinyasa, Hatha, Power, and Iyengar styles, led by qualified local instructors.
For surfers, yoga works on the areas that matter most in the water — hip flexibility, shoulder mobility, thoracic rotation, and balance. It’s not a yoga retreat. But if you want to use the classes to feel better in the water and move more freely on the board, the setup supports that well.
Massage
Arranged Through The Surf Camp
Massage can be arranged through the surf camp via our dedicated therapist. Many guests find it makes a real difference over the course of a week — particularly after back-to-back morning sessions. Ask at reception and we’ll arrange it for you.
The Surf Camp
Recovery Is Part Of The Programme
The recovery facilities are part of what makes staying at the surf camp different from booking a room somewhere else and hiring a surf school. The ice bath, sauna, yoga, pool, and massage access are all there between sessions — use as much or as little as you want.
